About Us

Emerson Bay Boatworks is a full service custom boat restoration shop located on the Red River at Lake Texoma. We work with all the local marinas to provide solutions for the maintaining and the re-building of classic wooden boats, from building new Teak transom to varnishing…from simple interior modification to complete restorations.  Jay Emerson graduated from the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding with an Associates Degree while studying Composite (Cold Molded) Construction Techniques and Interior Joinery. At Emerson Bay Boatworks we believe that the traditions of yesterday can be created again, where WOOD meets the WATER.
